Did you know that Facebook now has an automatic facial recognition feature that threatens your privacy? It identifies you automatically if you’re in a picture and attaches your name to that picture. To protect your privacy on Facebook follow these steps.
First, log into your Facebook account and click on “Account” in the top right corner. Next, click on “Privacy Settings” and then on “Customize Settings”. On the next page, under “Things others share”, click on the “Edit Settings” button beside “Suggest photos of me to friends”. Finally, set this feature to “Disabled” and click okay. You’re set, Facebook won’t put you at risk by automatically tagging you anymore.
