Facebook Remembers Your Face

E-mail Print PDF

Did you know that Facebook now has an automatic facial recognition feature that threatens your privacy? It identifies you automatically if youre in a picture and attaches your name to that picture. To protect your privacy on Facebook follow these steps.

First, log into your Facebook account and click on Account in the top right corner. Next, click on Privacy Settings and then on Customize Settings. On the next page, under Things others share, click on the Edit Settings button beside Suggest photos of me to friends. Finally, set this feature to Disabled and click okay. Youre set, Facebook wont put you at risk by automatically tagging you anymore.
