Professionally selected programs are designed to meet the ever-increasing needs of today’s fast paced business environment. The driving energy behind the development and implementation of ICDC College’s programs comes from its founder, Anna Berger, CPA, who has over 18 years of experience in employment and business training and is experienced in developing and implementing “job oriented” training programs.
ICDC College maintains membership in various peer organizations as well as close daily contact with the employment sector. ICDC College's Advisory Board is composed of nationally recognized educators, industry leaders, employers, and professionals. All faculty members have a minimum of three years experience in their field of instruction, and attend continuing education programs in teaching methodology and professional development.
Graduates of ICDC College will be able to perform specific duties immediately upon employment. They will be prepared to more fully use the specialized training offered by many companies to new employees. Also, opportunities for students’ career advancement will be greater due to the wide scope of knowledge they gain from ICDC College’s courses.
ICDC College has in-house job placement assistance. Employers contact ICDC College requesting qualified graduates. Resume writing, interview techniques, meeting prospective employers and representatives of employment services are just some of the things that are covered in our employment preparation course.Our emphasis is on practical rather than a theoretical approach.
Students learn by doing work using actual documents; they receive hands-on training on equipment they will be using on their job. At ICDC College, our goal is to provide a wide range of marketable job skills in as short a period of time as possible.

International Career Development Center, Inc. was founded in November 1995 by its President and CEO, Anna Berger, C.P.A. It was through her vision, interest and response to the community need that the school established its roots in the Los Angeles area.
It was during its first few years of operation that International Career Development Center, Inc. provided training in such programs as database design, business applications design and implementation, accounting, desktop publishing, computer repair/networking, database programming, tax preparation and medical assisting.
In August 1999, after four years of program development, performance, and dedication in the successful training of its graduates, the college received approval as an accredited institution by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology (ACCSCT), as well as the recognition of the U.S. Department of Education.
Since 1995, the continuing growth of community awareness of International Career Development Center, Inc. led to an even more recognizable and distinctive name being implemented in the year 2000, “ICDC College”.Over the years, ICDC College has become a standard bearer in leadership and growth within the vocational school industry. It has expanded its original program offerings of Accounting, Computer Graphics and Design, Business and Medical related programs, to include the addition of business and community employment training needs for: Paralegal, Massage Therapy, Dental Laboratory Technician, Alcohol and Drug Counseling, and Vocational Nurse.
In order to continue serving a greater diversity of communities, ICDC College expanded its campus locations in the Los Angeles area. Our Van Nuys, California Branch Campus was opened in 1999, our Huntington Park, California Branch Campus was opened in 2002, and finally, our Lawndale, California Branch Campus was opened in 2004. In 2006, our original Main Campus in Los Angeles moved to its present and larger home in Hollywood, California. In the spring of 2007, ICDC College also opened two additional training facilities in Lawndale and Huntington Park, in order to accommodate a growing student population. In all, ICDC College provides training for its student population in spacious, well-designed facilities with easy access from most any freeway in the Los Angeles area.
ICDC College has always stood for quality, integrity, and accountability for all its years of service to its surrounding communities and businesses. In reflection of its commitment to quality education and training, the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC) in 2002, 2005, and again in 2007 has bestowed upon ICDC College the recognition as a “School of Distinction”, a prestigious honor award only to a select group of schools within its membership, on a national scale.*
