You've probably been to Hollywood Boulevard before and seen the Hollywood Walk of Fame but you haven't seen the real Hollywood until you've experienced LA City Tours. Lindsay and the producers of Best Deals TV Show recently took their 2-hour tour to see these celebrity homes for themselves.
Away we go... an experience like no other… driving around some of the wealthiest streets in Beverly Hills and America, taking in the breathtaking views and catching a glimpse of incredible architecture and lavish lifestyles seldom seen by even those of us who live here. Our first stop was high above the city where our tour guide stopped at a look-out point for the world famous Hollywood sign, and overlooking the Hollywood Bowl.
See Los Angeles like you've never seen it before with the help of LA City Tours with spectacular views. Tour guides choose from 45 celebrity homes. In addition to seeing the homes you'll hear stories about stars residences like Michael Jackson, Tom Cruise, Ozzy Osborne, Christina Aguilera or the Hilton Family. While driving by Drew Caey’s home our tour guide says, "rumor has it that house is for sale if the price is right".
We also drove by the home of Humphrey Bogart and the beautiful Greystone Manor hearing the history behind this sprawling estate. A piece of Hollywood history at every turn.
LA City Tours manager, Jan Sherwood told us "this is a 2-hour tour. It takes you to a look-out point to see the Hollywood Sign, Mulholland Drive, Hollywood Hills, Rodeo Drive, Bel Air, and the Sunset Strip. You see movie star homes and learn about film history. It is fully narrated by a professional tour guide."
Those who went on the tour with us said that our tour guide and the history he passed along set this tour apart from the rest. Joanne Weston, went on tour, "I thought it was great. The guy took extra time to go down a back alley and showed us this really cool home in Beverly Hills."
The house she is talking about is a very unique home built by the famous Spanish architect, Goudi. We never knew Goude built anything here in Beverly Hills! In addition LA City Tours took us through the world famous shops on Rodeo Drive. Joane Weston told us, "I saw so much I hadn't seen before. Every tour is different every time."
