Saving on newspaper subscriptions

E-mail Print PDF

Newspaper subscriptions are on the decline throughout the United States. Newspaper subscribers are increasingly turning to the Internet and even free print dailies for news. But if you enjoy reading print editions of newspapers every day (as we do) and are looking to cut your subscription bill keep this in mind:

Newspaper companies are well aware of declining readership and will do most anything they can to keep you as a print subscriber. Kevin Pike is the producer of Best Deals TV Show and he told us he recently signed up for a one-year subscription to the the Los Angeles Daily News for only $20.00. In fact, they gave him a $10.00 gift card to Target as a bonus.

We found a web site online that offered a one-year subscription to The Los Angeles Times, Orange County Register, and many others at deeply discounted prices. Google, "discount newspaper subscriptions."

Or, if you are considering canceling your newspaper subscription call your paper's customer service line and tell them just that. You many find yourself with a better deal!
